That's terrible. There was recently a new member on here (GSD forum maybe) who said he was from Australia. Hope he's ok.

There are many Aussies on anther board that I frequent and they've been inundated already. I'll tell you what though, they really know how to pull together in a crisis! Helping themselves and others seems the common theme through this devastating chain of events. Hoping they all find high ground and they and the dogs aren't trapped behind flood waters, needing food and fresh water. They've lost so much already!

How devastating. Living in S. Florida we fear something like this every hurricane season.

"Severe tropical cyclone Yasi is a large and very powerful tropical cyclone that poses an extremely serious threat to life and property. This impact is likely to be more life threatening than any experienced during recent generations," Queensland disaster officials said in an updated cyclone warning.
