There are a couple of nice looking sable GSD's at Wichita's Humane Society up for adoption.  There are some GSD mixes too but the sables are very nice looking.  Could one of them be the lost K9, Bader?  Anyone missing a sable GSD check out the site and find Lady and Rin.

I hope someone recognizes them and rescues them.

I'm not sure where these obvious working line dogs came from.  Most of what you see around here are showline and backyard bred dogs.  I haven't talked to anyone yet but hoping to get the background on these two.  I have a feeling they came from the same place.  I don't see any tattoos in these pics.  Thanks Triodegirl for getting the pics posted.  I couldn't figure it out.  Anyone interested in rescuing these dogs?  They will be put to sleep if not pulled.  They are not considered cute, cuddley or adoptable...if something fitting that description comes in, they will put these two beauties to sleep to make room for a more "adoptable" dog.  The clocks ticking and we are in a blizzard here.

Ok, Lady was an owner surrender...they are moving and claim she was a stray they found.
Rin was a stray picked up by animal control.  Both are considered adoptable.  Lady has an ear infection and is on meds for that.  She is friendly with cats and dogs.  Didn't get much info on Rin but the woman I talked to said both are sweet dogs.  ANYONE out there care to pull these dogs?

Somebody please step up and save these working dogs.
If you breed them, you have an OBLIGATION to rescue them, whether YOU bred the specific dogs in need or not.

Both gorgeous dogs have been adopted by individuals.  YEA!

Thanks Shelley, I agree totally and I have to say I am disappointed that no one stepped up from the PDB other than you and triodegirl.  SIGH....I don't know how Steph does it, day in and day out.  She is a marvel.

Thanks Deb for the update. Good to know these 2 beautiful dogs were adopted.

I could never do rescue work like Steph and some of the others. I would never stop crying.
