Very good job....the only way to achieve pefection or near perfection as posible, is practice, practice and practice some more.... Seems you are on a good roll...Nice looking pictures and stack....

Not bad at all, lower and/or loosen your collar so as not to give your puppy a "goose neck". The front is best in the second pic, first pic is a little downhill. You can toss a bit of snow in front of your dog to perk those ears.

Nice athletic looking young man, what's his pedigree?

Thanks for the nice comments and suggestios. :-) He is from Ricco Zenteiche and my girl Georgio v tal der Schatten. Theresa

sheesh, the 3'rd pic is very good. rear is good. Off front is out of line and you need to get out of the pic. Keep practicing Also ears need to be up. You are very close.

Your pup is very nice and you are coming along nicely in presenting him. I really like his front, back and rear.

Thank you for presenting him. Ricco is a dog I am very interested in, as Randy B. bred the sister to Larus to him.

Hi Sheesh,
Very nice job by your son, my son helps all the time with stacking photos!
Your dog is very handsome and mature looking for his age.
You are lucky to have such a great little helper!!

I took his picture and straightened him out for you!

Thanks Rik. :-) We will definitely keep practicing and I will try to fix the things that you mentioned, Thank you for the advice very much. :-) He really is an amazing boy.

Rik,

with all of your AKC experience, do you think he would do alright in that venue? I used to show my Am Staff in AKC, but that was a long time ago, and I know almost nothing about GSDs in AKC.

Mirasmom,

Thank you so much for fixing the picture! And thank you so very much for the very nice comments. :-) You work magic with those pictures. :-) I really appreciate it!

Hi Sheesh, I think German dogs and German/Am. crosses will begin to do well in AKC, especially the all breed shows. The specialty shows are pretty much the domain of the hock walkers and extreme gaiters. This seems to have been accepted as correct by many judges.

Your puppy, at least in the pic, appears to have a straight back with no roach. Very good color and type. Front looks good. Also appears to have a high wither point. I don't see anything that would hurt him in the all breed ring. The 3'rd pic shows a very nicely angled rear, but not the extreme rears you will see in the specialty shows.

If your dog moves with a good top line (back and/or butt not higher than wither), then you just have to get him out there and see how he does. AKC can be a snake pit and is not always about the dog, so good luck if you venture in.

I have only shown AKC once in the past 10 years or so and that was with a German bitch. I have attended a couple of Nationals and a few shows in that time and others here may have a more current opinion.

JMO,
Rik
