Since I do not participate or have a great interest in the sport of Sch, I do not know alot about the regulations and rules. I do however can appreciate a good working sch dog.....My question is....Is there an age required as to what would be the minimum age to attain a sch1 title....My reason for asking is I recently saw a pedigree where the dog was not even a year old yet and has a sch1...This dog happens to be a littermate to our dog.....I know people can put what they want on their pedigrees, and I an not saying this is the case, but I just wanted to know what the rules stated, if there is such a rule....

They have to have passed the BH first that they can not get until at least 15 months. And for Sch I they have to be at least 18 months.

Nona, just curious, but what do you do with your dogs? Was going to start a thread and ask you, but you posted this one. Just curious because I've read that you breed and I've seen your posts on training threads. I just like to get a feel for where a poster is coming from.

Thanks GSDSHOW.....I was aware of the BH requirement before getting the sch1...Many people don't put the BH once they get the sch1....Thats why I asked......Didn't know about the age requirement for any title or titles concerning sch.....

For the same reason people don't note a Sch I or II when the dog is a Sch III; it goes without saying that the dog attained those titles that are prerequisites to the current title.
