I think this would be an interesting topic, and I hope people give their plans.

When in doubt, swim your dog.  Still the best way to exercise without undue strain on joints and such.  Unfortunately, not everyone has access to a place to swim.

P90X!!! Confuse his muscles. In 90 days, he'll have ripped abs and chiseled biceps. The judge will be so intimidated, he won't even want to stare. Honestly? Your dog should be in good enough shape to do a show. What do you do with your dog on a regular basis? I have a short-haired kick dog that looks like a rat on steroids just from chasing the big dogs.

rupya, i dont think there r going to be lots of replies because peoplr competing in shows keep a lot of secrets as to how to develop the top line etc.
im still learning but what i do is 20 days of cycling for the dog then walking on a leash while i walk ahead and the leash is with the handler this keeps the leash tight. if your dog drops his head while pulling u should use a collar with snubbed nails [ sorry ive forgotten the correct name for the collar ].
i do this for a month and touch wood my dog has participated twice and both times has won his class.
i hope this helps.
