No, the only other forum I visit regularly is a sports forum and they are ruthless compared to here. When you have fans of other teams fighting with eachother, they make this place seem civilized. I don't really post over there. I just use it to get updated on my team.

So true, so very true. I've met a number of keyboard warriors who don't have the balls to say in person what they happily say on the internet, behind the "security" of their keyboard. IMO if you won't say it to someone's face, you shouldn't be writing it on the WWW.
And people need to realize they are not nearly as anonymous on the WWW as they think they are.

I also post on a sports board and let me tell you that the level of "passion" for lack of a better word to describe it, that these folks achieve is truly worrysome... If religion is the opium of the masses, sports is the religion of the lumpen... A lot of these columnists are paid to generate controversy. It is a job, not a creed, mision or obsession for most of them.
