Erik graduated from the bite wedge to a sleeve today. Got some shots of his first real courage test bite.
All the good genetics starting to kick in are why we've been patiently waiting for him to 'grow-up' a little.

It looks like Erik has a nice grip.
Excellent that your helper used the bite wedge and waited until he felt the dog was ready for the sleeve.
No need to rush anything.
Best wishes for you with Erik!!!

Thank you!
Erik has definitely been a study in patience but it is starting to pay off as the genetics kick in.

Nice looking female! ;p
How's that go? Two bulls, father and son, are on a hill looking down at a pasture full of cattle. The son says, "Hey, Dad. Why don't we run down there and F~~k a cow?". The dad replies, "no, son. Why don't we walk down there and f~~k them all?"
Sometimes you have to be patient.

Thank you, Don though last I checked there was a twig and a couple of berries in his tackle box.
And you're right GSDPACK, the genetics were there, his mind just had to get into the game.

Frank,
Thank you! I won't say the patience has been easy but I'm glad we've taken our time. It's made a world of difference.
