Greg,
The West Palm Beach sounds very good to me!!!!
Bart is extraordinary...He knows more than he can teach
unless you move to Belgium.... But you will pick up very
good stuff and begin to see reality training as way of life,
on your dog. Not just dog sports but anything else you want
to ask. If you are a police canine officer or schutzhund he can help you.

I hear you Max, he is truly a gifted trainer. I visited Jogi Zank's club in Germany a few years ago and I nearly fell off my seat when I saw those shepherds work.  It was the first time I was exposed to Bart's active system in person.  I have attended two of Bart's seminars thus far and will continue to attend as long as my schedule permits.  He is a two time NVBK Belgium Ring Champion and has coached/problem solved successful handlers/trainers in IPO.

Crosspost from facebook by Bart Bellon regarding his seminar format:

http://www.dog-sport.be/en/index.php

" to answer some questions you are having, during the March seminar I will first cover the philosophy of dog training, positive training, role games, nepo, and nepopo advantages, etc... I will bring out some puppies to show how you can start a puppy on the Bart Bellon active system. We will cover the rewarding of spontaneous behavior, to teach the dog to learn and how he can make change in his environment. I will cover reward techniques: direct reward and direct extended reward and
indirect reward and indirect extended.  I will help people to understand which methods give focus and which give motivation. I will also cover how to learn exercises and solve problems that anyone may have. i also show people how they can easily train in all kinds of techniques while home working alone and how they can have great success with this strong basic foundation . We will cover how to switch the dog on and off.  Also I will try to make people understand why they must immediately teach the dog behavior and opposite behavior ! I will make people understand classic and operant conditioning and will cover the use of equipment such as choke chain , pinch collar , whip and how to introduce the e-collar as a success formula to improve the relation and harmony between the dog and the handler . We will also show how to use restricted environment techniques with the flexpole, placeboards, skykennel, table, etc... The modern dog must learn watch me, look at target commands and how to incorporate this into utility such as back transport, side transport, bark in the blind, marking scents (i.e. explosives, narcotics).
We will teach people circuit training techniques that can also be trained at home. We will not be afraid to attack the forced fetch in a humane way where the dog works to find his advantage... These are some of the things we will cover. All the system is based on: what do I do when the dog does, and what do I do when the dog does not do. We will not be afraid to go through conflict management training. I can continue for a few hours, but let's see what issues come up as problems that need to be solved at the seminar itself."

GregN,
Please don't listen to the snarky comments made by those that simply don't know any better.  Good luck with the seminar, I think the seminars will be excellent.
