I think we must first ask what she's being trained to do. If she's headed to S&R in an active disaster, there couldn't be better training! She's confident, bold, biddable and happy... what more could you possibly ask of her? And he never asked for anything she wasn't able to deliver, even after waivering for a few moments. Now that's a dog!
Edited to add: There are times when we must send our best to do our worst. The greatest injustice would be not preparing them for what they must face.

GSDt-
For me.....even more than the obviously challenged moments (and I saw more than one) was viewing the moments where the dog freely spun around the course. Personally, it went too far ....again...for me. Nice dog..very willing to please. Would hate to see him hurt. Your post is compellingly thoughtful, but my gut reaction remains steadfast.
As to your "edited to add" line. They're dogs.....just dogs. Some of the situations I see these animals thrown into eat at my very soul.

Pirate,,,,
I really loved the video....I was impressed with the way the dog trusted the handler. I liked the way the handler did a lot of encouraging throughout the routine....What a set up. They made that look like tons of fun.....

Travels, I agree. What's unfair to them is not giving them enough credit. That type work is great for building a working relationship and bond regardless of the intended endeavors.
