Can anyone tell me if you have had any experience with this, this email does not sound right to me...what do you think? thanks Hi.. Thanks very much for your response. I would be buying one male puppy you have for sale so kindly reserve it for me. You have to bear with me that I called with relay service, its because am hearing impaired. I am sending you this email to make final reconfirmation of the puppy which am willing to buy for my son birthday gift and I also want to let you know that payment will be by certified Check or Money Order .. However, I want to alert you on the fact that you will be receiving the Check or Money by next week and payment will cover your cost and as well as the shipping cost to be paid to the person that will take care of the pickup in your house.. So please as soon as you receive the payment, get it cashed immediately, deduct the money that accrues to you and send the remaining balance to the Head Office of the company that handles the shipment via Western union. More so, I will pay you an extra $100 if you can reserve this for me. So in view of the above, Here are some of the details I will need for final issuance of the Check or Money Order to you.i live in Illinois (1) Full Name (2) Mailing address, no p.o.box please (3) your direct telephone number both home and cell.? {4} Acceptance of my offer (5} Final asking price Once you get back to me with all the above information's, the check or money order will be issued out immediately and it will be sent to you

Scam,

I always get one or two of those when I have pups available.

I always just politely tell the operator that  " I would like to decline from the call."

Besides, who's going to volunteer to pay more than you're asking, do you know how many puppies are out there....if anything, they want money off.

Others have already told you.....THIS IS A SCAM. IF YOU ADVERTISE HERE,YOU WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY RECEIVE SOMETHING LIKE IT. PROBABLY NOT WORTH ANY RESPONSE. JUST USE YOUR COMMON SENSE.

When the relay service came on and started giving the information, the "red flag" popped up immediately. I felt it was a scam from the beginning but I had never been approached in this manner.  I thank each and everyone of you for confirming what I felt inside but did not absolutely know.  In any case, I wanted to post the email  word for word so that others could see what it looks like and they would not fall for it.  Sorry AUBS47 that you had to learn the hard way like that, your input  I'm sure will help others against these low life dirt bags that try to rob unexpecting people.

Thank you all

Scam, but you can have fun with it if you have the time.  Get the check, and let them know it is not good (first ask for 5K more).   Take their e-mail address and turn it in to the authorities.  I have over 75k worth of checks from my 07 litter!  Have some fun if you have the time!   Trish :)

Agreed.  It has nothing to do with advertising "here."  Advertising anywhere can trigger these scam emails.  It's certainly not the fault of this site.
