No matter who is on tv, or no matter what trainer is where. People will always try to find something wrong with them. I'd vouch to say all of the "trainers" on here......if you had your tv show, each trainer would find things they didn't like about the other.  Many people would not like some of your methods as well.  I've met a lot of people who think it's wrong to even tell a dog no, and it's abusive to even do a light leash correction.....how many of you would that rule out?  The only thing we can really agree on is that no one will ever fully agree with any trainer in absolutely everything they do.

I occasionally wathc CM.  Don't forget that under all of it, it is still show-business.  Cesar, I believe started grooming dogs.  He may have later parlayed that into taking classes and found a niche correctng behavior problems in dogs.  Do I agree with all his methods?  No.  Does he bring enough of interest to make it worthwhile to watch his show? probably.
As someone has indicated, he does reject dogs, so I'm not overly impresed with his cherry picking ways.

However, he has parlayed the show into a marketing company for all things canine.

I still don't trust him.

Charlie,

If you read his books, which I found very interesing, it tells how he got into training problem dogs....he didn't parlaye into it at all.
