Holidays AND Dogs?

With dogs being part of our family and lives, are you able to take holidays away, that either include your dog(s) or you make alternative arrangements for them?

Or are holidays away from home something that as been surrendered in the preferential choice of living with dogs?

Any time we are going to be away, there are special arrangements to be made. With 7 adult GSDs, one 12 lb Rat Terrier, 7 horses, 4 inside cats, 2 birds and a ferrett I usually arrange for a farm sitter.
If we are going camping, to our place in the mountains, horse show, beach we always take the Rat Terrier and usually one or more GSDs. Often anywhere from 2 to 7 horses travel with us also if we are going trail riding or a show.

My life has pretty much gone to the dogs (with a few horses sprinkled in).
I specifically bought these so that I could travel and take my puppers with me. I'd love to see more of Canada and United States.

Yes, some of the trailers they have these days are amazing. They cost the price of my farm, but amazing still the same.

Your not kidding..., We go to the Quarter Horse Congress every year and drool over the luxery buses...There's always the lottery....

My dogs, now 3, go every where. Last holiday/vacation was to New Mexico last year. Wasn't a holiday/vacation but roadtrip 4 mos ago; driving to Massachussetts to pick up Arabella.
