Ok so I know I'm going to get a nasty email over this by the Mods, but come on guys and gals you mod us to DEATH. I know your going to say that if I don't like it, then leave. But there comes a point when moderation becomes dictatorship and what started out as a good thing, has reared its ugly head and gone the other way in a hurry.
Yes it was bad and has greatly improved. But to remove sentences from posts and closing a thread over someone who has died is wrong. Give people credit some credit to post appropriately. If they are outrageous, THEN slap the hand.

Modulus Rex moderator comment: The reasons for closing the thread about the shooting were fully explained. This is a dog website and not a general news one, the original poster did not claim any relationship to any of the victims, the topic was fraught with controversial political implications, and so the thread did not belong here.
