Hi foks,
I've got 2 easy questions
1) a SchH 1 dog fails his SchH2 three times because of tracking..... but gets a new handler (wink, wink) and the new handler thinks she can "fix" the tracking but would rather enter for tracking only before trying for the ScH2. Do they have to do a TR1 before a TR2 or since the dog already has the SchH1 can they go right to the TR2....?
2) for a breed survery do you need elbows done too? (in addition to all the other requirements of course)
Thanks!

Why don't you save your $ and just have a club member lay a 2 track a month before the trial for your SchH2?

She can do a TR 2 without needing a TR 1 so long as the SchH I is passed

And yes, you need elbows for a breed survey. :)

Don- not a bad idea but I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to trialing. Just got the dog tuesday night and won't be able to track until the snow melts (I'm in MN so it might be awhile...) Guess it depends on how things go with everything else too
RLHAR - Thanks, yes the 1 passed
KCzaja - Thnks, thats what I thought, I must have been having a "blonde" momment......
