And one from my homeland, with its symbol of the 3 legs of Man - "Which ever way you throw me, I will still stand" though I quite liked my late brother in laws more colourful version "Which ever way you throw me, I will still kick you in the crotch"
to remind me of the steadfast bloodlines from which I stem
