I have Bandit pups on the ground right now and to say the least I am VERY impressed with them ! The litter is very uniform in drives and temperament very impressed. Litter is 5 weeks now. I have two Bomber pups and I LOVE my male drives to die for and both pups very biddable. I am just curious as to others experience with Bandit verses Bomber pups.

Being objective and fair about it I can only speak of "Bomber" because I have a male from the very first breeding that Bomber sired ............... I have not seen any Bandit progeny ...... I have seen several Bomber progeny here in the USA and when I was in Germany back in April I seen several progeny from Bomber over the pond ...... What I have seen were very nice ............... You can go to my website to see my Bomber son and 2 young Bomber progeny on the bottom of the page www.razervombaphomet.com In closing I think at this time would be unfair to determine that as asked but to look in another 3 years or so to see who was produced ............... I think it will be more visible who is the better sire at that time ....... Yours in the Sport ..................... Happy New Year ! Greg

Greg,
I understand I also have an opportunity to buy a pup from a Bomber son Maximus Tobias and would love peoples feed back as to these two. And what they are producing.

As Greg said very well - hard to tell "who is better", both dogs are only 4 years old, and oldest progeny is still too young to really see "doing anything" -
I have seen Bomber puppies that I liked very much in temperament - but didn't like as much in structure - the several I have seen have been clearly over-height, leggy and long in type - but ??? how they ended up maturing, though the over-height wouldn't have changed. So far Bandit has not produced that over-height and leggy/long structure, his puppies are more stocky/big boned/muscular - but perhaps that remains to be seen, and I certainly have not seen enough Bomber offspring to say that is the norm. Greg's Razor isn't this type as far as I can see in pictures. I haven't seen them "working" as they were all too young to really assess anything other than temperament and puppy drives.
Bandit has been bred far less than Bomber and will never be used to the extent Bomber is being used - though he has been getting enough breedings in this country to start to see the pattern he is producing. He has already proven to produce "true" to himself from all of the females he has been bred to - so far very uniform temperaments (outgoing, confident, forward, drivey puppies), nerve (steady, clear, solid, strong), drives (nice drives for working, nothing hectic or extreme), and type (nice size, compact structure, large bone, not overheight but very substantial) and beautiful pigment.
Bandit carries black recessive, and he does not carry coat recessive. He has been bred to many different females of different working lines, and show lines also. So far I have been extremely pleased with his offspring from all of the females, and so far the breeders who have brought their females to him have had nothing negative to say about the puppies. Most have praised the puppies highly - Many have already repeated their litters sired by him.
I think both brothers have a great deal to offer - both sides of the pond now that Bandit is in the US. Bomber is still being used a LOT in Europe, and by now he wouldn't be if the breeders were not happy with what he is producing. Bomber's owner has recommended Bandit to breeders over here - and I would certainly recommend Bomber if I knew breeders over there who asked for my recommendation. Breeders in this country are bringing their very nice females to Bandit, and I am very excited with what he is producing over here as well. It is all good! I guess you can't go wrong with either of them at this point.
