So they have chips you put in dogs that you can scan, but do they have ones you can track by GPS that you can buy? In the past we had a dog who jumped the fence who we never found, and a chip in a dog is only good if someone actually catches the dog and takes him in to be scanned. Do they have ones that you can track as well? I've heard of collars, but if the collar gets knocked off......

I know that here in Upper Penninsula of Michigan many of the wolves up here have a GPS micro-chip embedded in them like our dogs do .............. They also are keyed in on the computer that if the animal does not move within a 24 hr period, the computer activates a GPS signal on the location of where the wolf is ............... just 3 weeks ago the DNR found one who died of mange down the road from my home. Regards .................. Greg
