Just woke up this morning and this is what the weatherman is telling us. We'll just have to cancel that trip to the mall. Classic Nor' Easter coming my way. Hubby is busy getting the snow blower in order, we have a few hours yet before the snow hits, but it will hit hard! Finally I'll get my turn to take some snowy dog picts!

Get ready for some winter fun, friends on the Eastern seaboard.

This situation has been forecast to occur for several days.......where were you? Yes, looks like a large storm, perhaps one of the worst ever....Hope you do ok. Just be prepared for no power and have alternative way to heat.........,

I am curious. Where are you located? As much as I despise cold weather, I think it would be fun to experience a true blizzard. I am in Missouri and blizzards do not occur here. Folks become incapacitated with 2 to 4 inches of snow here.

Seriously Davren? I thought  Missouri was the birth place of Blizzards?!? LOL!  We live right on the edge of the heavy duty stuff, we're forecast for 6 to 10 inches, but nary a flake has fallen yet...!! I just hope I can get home from work tonight, last year I spent several nights camping out at work due to lousy weather. My hubby just gassed up the Jimmy, so I hope to make it home. The midnight time period is when they're calling for the worst of it, & that's just when my return commute begins.......hmmmm. Well, keep your fingers crossed for me! I guess I'll back an overnight bag, just in case....I hope it stays to the East of us! jackie harris

I just went into work and took one of the plow trucks home.

They are saying 1 to 2 feet here. LOL

WOW, they just postponed the Eagles Vikings football game. AH ha, it was scheduled to start at 8:20 PM in Philidelphia. No wonder.

Ninja -- I hope you have plenty of Bread, Milk and Toilet Paper - HA    ....and, of course, "other" beverages....

Wahreit, I've been in my own little world! LOL Lot's of Christmas socializing and watching movies, somehow I never bothered with the news, and yet It is still amazing how many people are at the gas stations, getting impatient honking horns. And I stopped in the bakery and was lucky to get the last loaf of Italian bread. So the snow's begun and I'm going to start a fire in the fireplace and later we'll have hot chocolate. This is our first snow of the winter, and no going to work for DH tomorrow... so it should be a fun day tomorrow for the digging out!

And my Christmas wish didn't happen.... my car still has to live outside. It will be nicely buried by the morning.
