To make a very long story shot:
My Friend Missy, when her baby was 1 year old, had to under go extreme colon cancer surgery, all went well,  6 Mon's. ago it came back with a vengeance,  Her entire bone structure had to be replaced from the waist to the legs,  She had to go to Queens, N.Y.  from Kansas. They told her all the things that could go wrong,  she just kept saying "It Won't", The Dr. asked her how she was so sure,  She said  "I have a little boy to raise"  The surgery took 18 hours,  with different teams of Doctors switching back and forth working,    The final team were plastic surgeons, to remove skin from legs to replace the skin that was removed from her lower area.  She did great.  3 weeks after the surgery, they had to go back in and do more kidney surgery,  Then told her she would not be able to sit down for 2 months,  she was sitting in a week. She wanted to be home by Christmas,   The Doctors said "No Way",  Yesterday afternoon, she arrived home to Kansas City.  He son, now 5 saw  her and literally burst into teas,  so did she..
What a wonderful Christmas for Her Family...And, I am never going to whine about my problems again...God Is Good...Lida

Wow, and I had so much trouble getting through the times my children had croup or the flu.
What an ordeal that must have been to endure for the child and the parents.  I'm so glad she is doing well!

I may whine, but I'll catch myself soon after as I really have nothing to complain about.

God is good!

Merry Christmas!
