Looking for information on obtaining a retired Police or Military dog for adoption. Our agency is responsible
for patrolling and responding to calls for service in the largest housing project in Milwaukee WI.
All officers will have appropriate certifications in the handling of K-9's for public service. I will take personal responsibility to house and care for the dog.
Please feel free to call me at 262-623-8893 or email me at rtag2004@yahoo.com.
Best Regards

You might want to check out the thread about adopting a dog from Lackland. Because you're an agency, you should qualify for some of the WDs that don't fit into their program but are perfectly suitable for other uses.

Give the dogs at Lackland a try, My husband and I have a friend who adopted one from them. He is a wonderful dog, well mannered and easy to be around. You will have to go to Lackland to pick your dog up.

Viper,
Are you a city agency or a private security company? Are you actually Police Officers or a Security Guard company? Am I correct in thinking that you want a retired Military or Police K9 to use for patrolling the apartment complexes? You might have some trouble finding a retired dog for that purpose, other wise it wuld still be working. With the exception of some MWD's that we do get for different reasons.
Just curious,
Jim
