Where can I get a nice dog pedigree from? Not this crap like AKC has. There used to be a lady who had a business...Canine Family Tree I believe...but I think she closed down. Thanks!

You can try http://caninepedigree.com/products/products.htm
Someone gave it to me. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Back before the internet, there used to be people who made pedigrees showing ALL of the dog's titles.. not just AKC ones.

They used to run ads in the back of "Dog World" and "Dog Fancy" magazines. Its been a long time since I looked at the classifieds, but you might make a trip to a bookstore and check the newsstand. They were kind of expensive, as I recall... some would actually hand letter them.

Brewsters Pedigrees....  Gonna have to google it......

They use to put all titles in red, including all working titles. It was on parchement paper with a red ceritfied seal on the pedigree...Really nice document...I did use them in the past and was really satisifed with it....I believe they can provide up to an 8 gen ped.

I had gotten a few pedigrees from Brewsters, they were the best, the guy got info that I couldn't find,
You paid less for the Brewster pedigree than the AKC one, and got more generations, these were both purchased in 2006

If your dog is from European lines, check out my website
www.gsdpedigree.com/

I do not do American line as AKC stopped selling their stud books back in 2001 or 2002 and so I sold all my AKC books.  But I have a world class European library and can trace any dog back to the founding dogs for ones from East or West Germany, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, or Austria.
