Does anyone know of any dogs that are linebred on Crok? If so, what does that linebreeding produce? How do you like what you have seen?

just depends on what the other lines are - don't just look at one dog in a pedigree and think it's going to make or break your breeding dreams/goals.... that is, if you have goals and are not just looking to make puppies... What is it that you want to produce?

I have a Crok grand-daughter through Leo Erlenbusch. I am not planning on breeding her anytime soon, as I am currently training her. I just wondered if there were alot of handler agression or just flat out too much agression produced when linebreeding on Crok.

I wouldn't worry about handler aggression, as I think that is more a product of un-directed aggression and bad training. What are the other lines of your female?

VHK, Her pedigree is sire is Leo Erlenbusch and the mother is Yeska Staalhamer. Both parents are on here. Her drives are awesome and she has a full and hard grip! I have been told that she hits like a male on the courage test. She does have some missed placed agression at times, but dosen't happen too often. I really like her but she is still young, about 2 years. I have only had her for about 5 months though. I am currently researching males that I would like to breed her to in the far future and was just wondering what linebreeding on Crok would do, not that that is what I am going to do, but I would like a really nice trainable male out of her that has a bit of seriousness to him.

I avoid line-breeding on Crok. From what I have seen, the puppies produced from this line-breeding tend to be dull. In other words their nerves are too good, they do not have defense drives because they do not realize that they are being threatened.
I like Crok, I have a Crok grand daughter through Garry Erlenbusch, but I would stay away from line breeding on him.

Zahnburg,
Thanks for the input. Was just what I was looking for. What does the Crok stuff go well with? What do you put with the Crok stuff to produce dogs with good drives? I like my dogs a little on the civil side also.
