Ok.... My 9 month old has decided to eat through the floor in the kitchen.  I know that he is not board because he gets worked almost everyday.  I have tried putting a kong, tennis balls, in his kennel with him.  Anytime he is put away for any period of time he gets very destructive.  any ideas?

Separation anxiety?

by beetree on 09 December 2010 - 14:12

What is a period of time? Hours? He's nine months old! That is an eternity. Yes he is BORED. Aren't you an expert by now? Where's that wife and three kids of yours, obviously not in the kitchen? Call your bestfriend over if you don't have the time, he's always there when you need him.

I thought that we where suppose to be helping each other out here.
He is in there for 2 hours at the most.  If someone has some advice to help me out that would be helpful.  Otherwise find someone else to harass!

LOL, Anyone got some good advise for the scammer?

It is called a CRATE (for the dog).  LMAO

JAIL (for the fraud.)

I believe I did offer a suggestion, that he's expressing seperation anxiety rather than boredom.  The way you would address the one is not necessarily the way you'd address the other.

I've never had to deal with seperation anxiety in either of my dogs so I can't offer solutions, hopefully someone else here can.

Anyone got some advice for the idiot that wants to make a mockery of everything.  Perhaps I should have mentioned it but he is in a crate when he does it.  He ruins the crate and then starts on the floor.

RLHAR.. Thanks.  That was not aimed at you.  I understand what you are saying.

by beetree on 09 December 2010 - 15:12

RHLAR, this is the guy who sells dogs he doesn't even own. Ask Jenni, she'll tell you all about it.
