I am new to the GSD breed and have recently acquired a well bred black GSD named Diogo Von Der Bertold and was curious as to what CABDA,SCHH1,KKl1 stands for i know some will think it a dumb question but like i said im new to this and i looked up my dogs name on this site and these were listed before his name is this good?

not sure about CABDA, could be a conformation title.
but sch1 is schutzhund1. and kkl1 is koerklasse 1, or first breeding class.

you have kkl1 and kkl2, you prefer kkl1. kkl2 can be given if the dog is oversized, or has a missing tooth for example.

the schutzhund titles are BH, SCH1, SCH2, SCH3. 3 being the highest sch title you can achieve.

You can think of Schutzhund as a working dog test,tested in Tracking,Obediance,and Protection,in the perfect world a means by way of seeing what dogs worthy to be bred to to pass on the genes of desired working dog traits,on this site look to the left side go down to BSP punch on that and you can see high scored dogs in the past.Welcome aboad my freind.

OT, Ibrahim, Manaco etc, pls send this "new guy(Rookie 88)" some sites to check meanings of ratings(on transit but just can ignore him). I also advice that you type "gsd show ratings" or "schutzhund titles" or other related searches n behold= more than what you want. Welcome to the greatest breed on earth. Regards

I appreciate the info everyone has been very helpful thanks. just trying to know as much as i can about my dog he is a special dog and i feel he deserves an informed owner.

Just curious but if you are willing to say how did you acquire such a dog. And congrats he is a very nice looking dog. And I would be doing the same thing if I owned this dog. Gotta feel honored to own such a well bred dog with those accomplishments.

actually Gemini i acquired Diogo from a good friend who did not have the time to work with him and he asked if i was interested in owning him so now i have him and i wouldnt get rid of him for anything he is the best dog ive ever had.
