You took it down because it didn't read well? When was there a rule against that. I think the mods should reserve their power for when they need to use it. I believe that is a little too trivial for a mod to edit, it's a forum that should be monitored for content, not a personal blog that should be edited the use of english. JMO

I did not interpet a thing a complaint was made and I removed the ad and sent a nice reply explaining why.

The classifieds are no different than the forums. We can and will edit/remove ads as needed.

And you do have that power. After all it's free advertizing on a high traffic site. I didn't realize you had recieved a formal complaint, I thought there was only this thread noting an odd add. I just didn't want it to be missed that some may not view that as a big deal, any sensible person looking at that ad should have understood what he meant. On the other hand you have to have a standard that suits everyone.
