When I was a kid growing up in the 70's, ( i am a 1966 model- fine year ).  These shows had me hooked on the working breeds.  Just thought I would share, ( they are kinda dorky ).  But I  thought I would see if there is anyone else that can remember these.  And if you never have, enjoy....they were awesome for their time.

Rik, forgive me brother, that picture of you in the 70's showing the dobe and with hair and bell bottom pants, made me think of them.  MainlyMax, and some others have added to my thought on "back in the day". And of course Don Corleone, but I would need to find a you tube of " the godfather"...LOL

I hope you enjoy !

Billy Jack- One Tin Soldier - adult supervision required ...LOL
- what about ole' Billy Jack?  I am not adding this to ensue  a riot or on the forum.  No political of war, anti war statement, anti government , nothing, just the video's to see who all remembers this stuff. So don't come at me, it is just about the nostalgia.  Caution these were rated PG.  Some language, tad of fighting.  But fairly mild in my opinion.,  If they offend anyone the moderators can remove them.  Again no intended to offend,

Geeze, I had forgotten that song.........  Thanks MarineMom.

I do not remember Joe.  I may have to look up some old clips.

Wow...those are some old clips. I should remember the Old Joe segments, but somehow seems to slip my mind. I must have been preoccupied with survival at that time! Thanks for sharing. I love the dog in the clips!

Thanks for the awesome feed back posted or private mail.  The series Run Joe Run, I think I was 6 years old when I first saw it.   The Doberman stuff is hilarious, for sure the ones that rob the bank.  Plus all that 70's look going on.

I know I know, in come cases you had to be there..

No I am trying to remember the movie where the guy gets locked in the department store
with the dobermans, it might have been James Broilin.  I can't remember the name to find
it. ??

The Dobermann surely has gotten lost. I only know a handful of good working breeders here in the states. Hopefully that turns.

Corky and White Shadow..   Disney from the 50's

Longstreet....  James Franciscis & Pax

Bionic Woman... Lindsay Wagner and her BIonic dog Maximillion

Rin Tin Tin...

Hotel De Paree...  not a Shepherd, but a young  Earl Holliman as a gunslinger with a black hat with mirrors around the band... and  a little Terrier named Useless...

Pettycoat Junction... with their little terrier who went on to become famous as Benji

It was a movie, not TV, but LOVED The Doberman Gang, who robbed banks
