I am creating my dog's pedigree and have run into a problem. I have registered the dogs on the data base but when I a try to put them down as parents, it keeps saying no info found, this is only happening to the males. I don't know if it has to do with their CH titles or what, but I added the names with and without the titles and it still is saying nothing found. Someone help please.

I noticed there are two Heidelberg pedigrees  attempting to post on right side..The reason is because none of that dogs parents are on the database registry.

His dogs are bred from only his info and you won't find them  here until you go back 9 generations and maybe find a German bloodline or one or two that happen to have one of those dogs way back in the pedigree.

if that is not your pedigrees, same thing applies...no parentage on database and you will have to start way behind and move forward adding each generation as you go until you get to yours..

I am going by the pedigree of my pups dam which it is a 3 generation pedigree. So I need to start from the back and work my way forward.

Yes, and if that doesnt work  you will have to go further back...American bred kennels do not have their dogs on here because the pedigrees mainly here are GERMAN< BELGIUM> DDR> or from Import pedigrees and all of them usually are found..if one is not,,you have to enter the info from that point and come forward.

SV and AKC can help and the breeder  also, with more background to get it done..if none of them show up, for a while, do not give up...many times you hit one and there is your key to keep going and add as you come forward..

Thank you so much! I am noticing that most German Shepherds on here are strictly German bloodline. I have 6 German bloodline GS also and never had this trouble, but I have two baby girls that are 1/2 Heidelberg and 1/2 West German showlines that I would like to create their pedigree's for my website.
I have a question for you, I've been a member for some months now. I believe I read one of your post about Heidelberg kennels. If this wasn't you, please disregard, but I would like to know if you dislike the Heidleberg dogs or the owner of the kennel or both? You see I have 2 Heidleberg Adult females and bred one to an excellent West German male, Sch III, KKL1a to see the results. I love my 2 Heidleberg females as they are very beautiful. But I do know about all the negativity that Heidelberg recieves but I am wandering, is it towards the owners or the dogs.
