So I'm curious, mods, what do you know about dogs. What do you have to offer for the forum other than being a nuisance. How many of you train or work dogs, or have a history of doing so. What knowledge can you offer about GSDs to people who come on this board?

We might when things settle in.
Understand it does not take a trainer, vet, breeder or pet owner to moderate a forum.
When Oli asked me to moderate. He did not say can you train a dog? He asked can you enforce a set of rules fairly.
The moderators all have differing amounts of dog training and dog experience.
We will look to add moderators with all levels of experience.

Very well stated and much appreciated!
Kind of sad that adults requiring "training" to observe and follow rules. Thanks GSD for your patience and willingness to be a volunteer in this process.

Excellent post. The mods aren't here to give training advice, health advice, etc. They are here to enforce the TOS, that's it. We asked for it and now we have it. A few bumps in the road as expected, we complained about it and Oli took notice and made some additional changes. I am thankful for it.

I wholeheartedly agree, Tina. Excellent posts. Moderation =enforcement of the TOS which has nothing to do with training or anything else. GSD, bravo.
