These are 3 of 5 of the best guys I know that train
dogs, and are very good with people. They love
what they do and are respected in the dogsports
world.
Many people come here for the first time not knowing
much about the German Shepherd or other working
breeds. So I would say if you get a chance to meet
anyone of these guys take it. You won't be disappointed.
Wayne Simanovich I can tell you, will demystify much of what you
my have heard about schutzhund. I would say he has
an ease about him with full knowledge of what he is talking
about.
Les Flores is like Wayne , with alot of years in dogs and
was a California Policeman. He is a pleasure to talk to. He
knows who is good in this sport and who is shady. Les
well not disappoint you either. He knows and appreciates your
being new without much accurate information...
Phil Hoelcher is well like and respected for alot of reasons,
but most of all his passion and dedication...I think he has
something like 8 nationals under his belt and he still
competes.
The reason I am posting this thread is I saw an ad in
a cowboy- horse magazine with Wayne in it. This shot memories
of him in the 80's....I was very impressed with the ad layout,
it was very tastefully done....But it occurred to me people that
see that ad may not know what a great person Wayne is.
So here are 3 of my favorite people from the past.
Although I did not know Phil Hoslcher that well, what I did
know was all good...And not just me but alot of people feel
that way about him.

I know the best dog trainers in Europe
so I am allowed to do that.
I will do a post of some promising people
that still have not made their bones but
could...I will PM you when I do that.
This post is to give new people some
direction. Not to really put any one in
the spot light....
For the last 4-5 years I have been watching
the new crop......no one is knocking my shocks off
yet. And trying to tell you about Jogi Zank a German
Hundsman would be over your head...Unless you
have competed at a world level or have spent 3/4 of
your life training dogs in Eruope. He is new, but promising.

My last world championship was in 2005...
The glory days....Jogi is getting old must be 35

like to add?
