Seems like everyone waiting for DNA to clear for getting adults AKC and thus pups,,, this must be a hugh bottleneck does someone have the a short time example and a very long time examples? Thanks for any inputs.

they say 6 to 8 weeks, mine took only 4 weeks

Mine have always taken 4-6 weeks......no less

Are you talking about DNA on the import dogs? I think that generally takes a little longer because they have to have the DNA before issuing the registration papers if I'm not mistaken.

Ok the import I registered this year went like this - sent proper paperwork into AKC and got her registration cert in 2 weeks. Submitted DNA that took 5 weeks, submitted litter app on a forzen semen litter and had registrations babck on pups in 2 weeks.

3 weeks, from send to to paper in hand. Never more.

Last set of DNA I sent in took 8 weeks to get the results back. Other sets have taken anywhere from 5-8 weeks.

i just got a DNA back and took 6 weeks, but has taken as long as 7 weeks for me.
