Hi I'm new to this forum and was reading some of the posted messages and wanted to find out other people's opinions about my situation. I purchased a puppy from Kraftwerk K9 that was born on 2/2/06 and left him there for an extra month for training. After speaking with the breeder and getting all the information on diet and nutrition, etc. The dog is now 4monthes old, I have now spend almost $3000 on vet pills. I'm very confused I am following the breeder suggested diet, the dog gets daily exercise and I really don't take him out of the house much for now because he is a puppy. I am concerned because my puppy has so many problems: dermodex mites that have caused hair loss in several areas of his face and legs in which I have been treating for several weeks now, every day I have to apply mitan/mineral oil, plus I have to spot treat him with sulf-qxyade shampoo daily and all over his body weekly. Besides that he also has some kind of nose fungus, in which that have been running several tests to find out exactly what it is and what has caused it. He's been on two antibiotics for that, the most recent is Clavanox. Because his stools were so soft, they scraped the inside of his rectum to have bacteria test done. It came up with a bad bacteria that also has to be treated with an antibiotic.
All of these problems seem really strange to me, I take very good care of my dog. And I am very confused after contacting Kraftwerk K9, they're solution was to get another vet (this is the 3rd vet that i've gone to so I know these problems are real). I would really highly recommend never purchasing a dog from there. Does anybody have any ideas or thoughts on anything else that I can do at this point since the breeder tells me basically to shove it? I'm really concerned about my dogs health and I'm hoping he will recover fully and be ok.

So sorry to hear about your dogs problems, I also bought a pup from Wayne Curry at Kraftwerk K-9 and my pup also developed some health mostly allergy type stuff probably attributed to my living in Florida ANYWAY after a few trips to various vets and speaking with Wayne he said to send him back and he would refund my money which he did. The allergy problems went away when dog got back to Washington so I feel that this was the best thing even though I hated to part with the dog as I feel that he was extremely smart and very handsome but I know he is better off out of this climate. I know what you are going through and I feel for you, GOOD LUCK.

PS This was my second pup from w/c first one was healty as a horse
