Just out of curiousity, I would like to hear what people think about this dog. I cannot even being to stack a dog, so I hope these pics will suffice. He is 4 now.

I like a dog with appealing structure, I am learning on the conformation myself, so you better wait and see what the well versed will say but I can not resist to try. First picture does not do him well. the rest of the pictures are much better.
He is above medium size sable color male of good type and proportions, nice friendly expression which looks a bit sad in some pics. Nice medium sized head, good earset but a bit wide. Nice medium dark mask, good firm back, good croup and tailset. Decent front and back angulations. Nice tail, hooks and pasterns too. Feet are good but could be a bit tighter.
All the best

First of all I am a sucker for sables.....One can never have too many of them....
From these pics there is not much that can accurately be critiqued.....Of course we understand and take into consideration, your lack of knowledge to stack a dog..... These pics do give an over-all, appearance of your guy....
IN MY OPINION, he looks to be a little thin in the first pic.....I love his pigment. His head does appear to be strong....Ive seen stronger but you can tell by only looking at his head he is all male.....From the angles the pics are taken, he does appear straight in shoulder....He also appears to be alittle eastie-westie in the front, and cow-hocked in the rear.....Feet appear to be ok.... Over all, I do like this boy.... Remember, there is NO PERFECT dog....EVERY dog has its faults, even the VA rated dogs, as also do the working dogs......
Please remember that everyone will give their opinion that can only be done from viewing pictures....If your dog could be seen in person, you MAY get different opinions from the same people that gave an opinion here ....
However at the end of the day, you take care, feed, and own the dog....You have NO ONE to please or make happy but yourself......So as long as you are happy with your dog, it really doesn't matter what I think or anyone else thinks.....
Good Luck with your boy and enjoy him...He is a nice boy!!

Thanks for replies. No worries about hurt feelings, I fully expected to hear the good with the bad. I am very happy with him and I do not intend to breed, so its not really a big deal.
I am trying to learn, but it is difficult. I am really not a fan of the only GSD breeder around here and there are no working breeders at all. So basically I read and look. I thought if I knew what I was looking at with my own dogs, it may help. No point only learning the good stuff.
