This ad was in our local paper. I just find it amazing how some people are this uneducated..
"GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPS german bread, top VA/V lines, lrg bone, blk & red, 1 long coat *PHONE NUMBER DELETED* "
I bet that german bread tastes pretty good : )
But to boot, when you call - this breeder is VERY uneducated over the phone (not only about the GSD's, they are trying to sell, but everything in general)
I know you don't have to be a rocket scientist to be a breeder, but come on now...

Oops, hit enter too soon...
This is another one of those breeders who is breeding to pay bills, instead of to improve the GSD. I just find it disgusting how people can justify making a living pumping out poor quality GSD's. (Or any breed for that matter)
(Oh, and the comma after GSD's in my original post, was a typo. Sorries!)

I had to stop reading the classifieds in the paper....
I found one once, these were ShihTzu3 GSD's.... how pathetic is that??
Could blame it on the as takers on the phone but if I ever do place an ad that way I spell out everything for them but nothing fries me more than German SHEPARDS.... you really should be able to spell the breed you are involved in creating more of!!!

One time I placed an ad to sell German Shepherd puppies and they wrote it as: German Shephard puppies for sale...well I complained that this is not my breed..and so they re-ran the ad for free...I don't like my dogs mis-represented by a mis-spelling...

The ad was funny.
I don't know anything about the individual breeder, but in the case of this ad it was clearly the fault of the "uneducated" proof reader or editor at the newspaper.
I have placed ads before and had misspellings and wrong phone numbers, but I gave the correct information. Besides you don't have to be an English or Communications major to be an expert on another subject matter. Why did you call them anyway if you were not interested in their dogs?

Well, the paper that published this ad takes them "as is" lol, so it was NOT the papers fault. And a friend of mine called (the breeder had a larger ad in our big paper) to see what they were offering for sale, as they had titled imports listed as well.

Here is the ad in our "big" paper...

DKiah, that "ShihTzu3 GSD's" ad would have had me rolling for weeks! Wow, that is pretty bad...

You probaly didn't read the Ad right. It means you get 3 Shihtzu's free with every GSD purchase. LOL
