Read the book The Theory and Method of Schutzhund by Hilliard and Barwig....Barnes and Noble or on Ebay get a used copy...
I notice you just joined...How about telling us FIRST about the dog....the more we know about your german shepherd the better we may be able to lend a bit of help....
We have some very top trainers on here...! They are standing by to help you learn how to STAND your dog!.

I would think...although it's fine to introduce your young dog to a lot of things...I don't think I would be working so hard on teaching your puppy Sooooo many exercises....but I would mainly work on developing their drives....
Although a lot of people will probably tell you how to teach the stand...I think the best would be for you to either read some good books and/or get some video of people showing you how to do it...
But in saying that I think reading some good books and/or watching some videos would also give you a better idea of what you're doing and when and how you should do it...
Let me ask you...How are you training...I mean what techniques are you using? It matters HOW you're training your dog as WHAT you're training...To let you know more about what I'm talking about...are you using Motivational Techniques or are you using more Compulsion?
