The Planet's Stupidest Pet Owners!!!!!!!!!!! - Page 1

I just happened to see Planet's Funniest Animals this morning and I couldn't believe it: parent/s filming a video of the kid (must be less than a year old) crawling around a sleeping dog pulling on its' lips, jowls etc. The dog, a GSD, just brushed the kid aside - which was, apparently, hilarious. Have these people never heard of 'letting sleeping dogs lie'? We have our nephew stay with us a few times a week and have no problem with him hanging out with our GSD, but he knows to respect his space and not faff with him when he eats or sleeps.

Honestly, most of the stuff on this programme gives me the sh!ts! Most are of chronic behavioural problems. Instead of finding a solution for the tailing chasing, leg biting, scooting or other manic behaviour they grab a video camera and have a good laugh!

I swear people are really dumbing down!

Anyhoo, that was my rant for the day.

And a perfectly good rant it was, too!

This surprises you?  There are truly people who shouldn't have dogs, kids, homes, or anything else!  I am not sure that people are dumbing down, but I think they are losing common sense.  They can't help it...It's funny to them and they don't do anything about it. 

I feel it, too.  There are many, many things that set me off about people in this world, but I guess it takes all kinds.  At least that video didn't end with the dog mauling the kid and being euthanized.
