My 17 month old boy has had a yellow disharge coming from his left eye for around 48 hours now. I am just curious to whether or not anyone may know what could be the cause of this. Is it anything serious? Should I rush off to the vet or can it wait till tomorrow? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do for him other than another vet visit?

Try flushing his eye with saline, may be an allergy, but if it is only one eye it is more than likely an infection, scratch or a foriegn body causing irritation. I don't think you need to rush to the vet, but I wouldn't take my chances with anything eye related, I would get him in tommorrow if you can.
