So, as most know I went to the Indianapolis dog show.  On the way home,  my girl that I pulled from show went into labor and had 4 puppies (3 living).  Turns out my calender pages got stuck together when I was adding the days until due.  Yes, I know, I didn't check and recheck.  I just started at one place and ended in another and trusted that it was right.  End date was suppose to be 12-16 (seems Nov got stuck to Dec. page and I skipped it), but in reality it was 11- 15.  Well, I have my LITTER on the ground or truck so to speak (she technically had them at a friends house in Austin that I stopped at to sleep a few hours before the last leg home).   I am home now and have my babies here, but BOY was it a TrIp to get home.  I think I will use the online conception to birth calculator from now on.
It is so funny because I was really worried with how big she was compaired to when she was due.  I kept seeing (on the calender) she was only 5 weeks.  LOL.  I guess the divorce is got my brain in a rut.  I am SOOOO proud of her and mad at myself for having to much on my plate to give her the birthing scenario that I usually give.  Here's the thing, she is a TROOPER!  She was completely normal until she started to have them then she turned into Super Mom!  And the females name is most certainly Xelerate!!!!  Hanz won V3 and became a very proud new daddy all in the same trip!

LOL!  I am pretty honest, but hey life CAN overwhelm all of us at one point or another Plus, all's well that ends well :-)

I have the Xcellent litter that I was hoping for and took the scenic route to get it.  But, besides, when we go it's "No man left behind" with the dogs.  If they wanna come they get to come.

Just because we don't admit to mistakes doesn't mean we don't make them :-)

The lesson to be learned here is sometimes it might be better to use a trusted online calculator than a calender.

Congratulations on your litter.  It's nice to see a little honesty for a change :)

Yes, I guess it is nice to see a little honesty!  Nice to know who whelps their puppies in the car or on the road instead of being home where they belong.....after all 63 days is 63 days no matter how you count it!  A bitch bred in September isn't going to have puppies in December..........just sayin'.......
