Hello, I am new here and new to the GSD breed. I have just moved to Ohio 5 weeks ago and am looking for a kennel/trainer to start working my new import that I had imported from Germany . I have looked all over the web and have only seen a few in my area that are trainers . I am in the 937 are code and would like to stay close to my home near Dayton . So any and all help would be welcome . I do not want to go to any bad ones so please tell me who to watch out for and who is really good . I have a time set with Timothy of SPD K-9 Training Center www.spd-k9.com this weekend do you all know him and what are your thoughts about him and his training . Also what about Jeff from Dopedog.com Please let me know as I do not want my new dog in bad hands as i have heard one bad trainer can take a nice dog down fast please e-mail or post here newtogsd@yahoo.com Thanks Heather Maxwell

National K9 in Columbus can help you find a good trainer in your area.

Depending on what type of dog you have and what you want to do - there is a USA Club in Cincinatti, and probably some in MI or KY close enough to get to - take a look at their websites... http://www.germanshepherddog.com and look at clubs in the mideast region
