Wanted to know if anyone had flown a female within 20 days of mating and she has puppies . I tried to fly them not earlier than 30 days after mating. Just need to know if in fact didn't affect her pregnancy, as the believe is you can't fly them before the embryos set in the uterus. Thank you for your input

It is my understanding that you either fly them right away after mating or wait about 4 weeks.  I had a female bred and flew her home immediately and she had a healthy litter of 6.  I asked many experienced breeders before making the decision to fly her right away and the opinions were evenly split.

Just a little ingenuity:after 72 hours spermatozoa must have swam/settled. At this stage u can transport to heaven if u can. Right after mating or a couple of days later is Ok. Best wishes.

I wanted to hear from those that had flown them before 20 days after mating and if they did have puppies.

I had heard ,like you, either right away or after 20-30 days........but just wanted to see what other people had in fact experienced.

I do thank everyone for their input.
