Just watched the kentucky bred horse win the Dangerous Midge..... the Flying dismount...very much a Breeders cup day....

She did , as she got squeezed to last really badly...but she was almost.....Yes beyond belief
Blame held true and didn't waiver.. Female greatest horse...... goes this year to Zenyatta
Blame will be named greatest horse of the Year after this race.

The more I think about it, the more I think inexperience got the better of Zenyatta today. How can a 6 year old race mare be inexperienced you might ask?
I think she could have beaten Blame, had she understood she needed to run at at him. In this respect, Goldikova was ready for the challenge in front of her and she knew she had to run when she was asked to hit the gas. Zenyatta has always been able to beat her foes down just by looking them in the eye as she goes by but today she ran into Blame who came back at her and by the time she realized she needed to run, she'd run out of racing room.
