Brunhaus, I think Oli has been making discreet changes to certain functions of the database durng the past several days. I never have a problem with any of the features but I can tell when these discreet changes are applied.
I presume you are using MSWindows, and I can offer suggestions that help keep all of my machines running smoothly. (1) Use the latest version of Internet Explorer 8, and set it so it views all webpages in compatability mode. (2) Make sure all Windows updates are current (3) Use a freeware junk and registry cleaner that is available at http://www.ccleaner.com. That is a great tool for all of us that use high-level CADD programmes that can leave a lot of junk lying around, and it cleans all of the garbage that the normal Interneyt Explorer cleanup tools does not get. It outperforms all other cleaners that I used.
It's not just this website - I think many of the changes are being driven by other browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, etc. and this website, as well as all others must function with those. It seems that everyone has their own version of the latest and greatest web browser and are in the "me too" category. In the end, I think this causes a lot of issues for a lot of webpages. Good luck!
Best Regards,
Bob-O
