Is there anyone else having trouble getting there paper work back from the U S A. I've been waiting 8 months. I turned the papers in at a show, and the U S A was supposed to send them to the SV. After contacting the U S A many times and getting no answers. I finaly called the SV. To my supprise they never recieved any paper work. The U S A now tells me , that after getting rid of a few people. They don't know what happend to the paper work. And not just mine but others as well.So now How do I show my dog, or get is breed test done. The U S A office was supposed to call me back Monday, never did. So I spoke with them again today. They said will call you later today. Guess what, surppise. No call.
What can I do. Or better yet, What can we do.Maybe just stick with the WDA.
Help!!!

Well that's why I have not registered my dog with USA, I have seen the results of the shows and have surprised to see the fewer number of entries in the regionals when compared to WDA regionals, well may be for professional breeders USA may be good, but a GSD enthusiast like me with couple dogs, I want to show whenever time permits me and not having to be a member and register my dog, also if SV can accept the notorized registration papers to transfer a dog I do not understand why USA can't accept ???

This is NOT good news. I think the main woman who was handling the paperwork has left USA recently. If the SV never received the papers, this is not a new thing either. This also happened to me more than one year ago and it took almost a year to get the papers back. When I pushed USA, they blamed it for months on the SV, but in the end, it was the USA who had the papers all along and had not sent them in. Supposedly a new system was put in place to rectify this. Apparently it is not working very well and I would bet your case is not isolated.
USA will only now answer phones between the hours of 10 and 3 and I am not sure if that is everyday. The bottom line is the organization is spending money it does not have on things that are not important, and that are duplicated by the SV or other organizations. The organization does nothing for the small club or little guy. I have been a member now for some number of years and personally, I wish there was a better choice. But I do not think the WDA is much better.
May I suggest you write to one of the officers, or better yet, call the National Breed Head Judge, Karen McIntyre. You can find her contact information either on line or in the magazine. It is the officers who need to know of these kinds of problems continue. They are the ones who are making the budgetary decisions and they need to know that such poor service is not acceptable. I feel sorry for the staff because I am confident they are overworked and poorly paid. When you can get someone, they do their best to help.
Good luck.

If the USA would accept copies, or notarized copies of the original pedigrees that would not be an issue. The AKC accepts copies too, no reason for the USA not to accept copies. Maybe something the membership needs to put up for a vote...

Ya'll have me worried now. I just sent in the original pink papers to the U.S.A., along with my payment, for three dogs. When I talked to them over the phone prior to sending in my paperwork, they sounded like they were on top of things and there were no problems being experienced. She did mention personnel changes recently. Let's hope. I would say let's pray but the Bible indicates that dogs and pigs are Gods least favorite creations. But that is for another discussion.

I recently sent in for indiv reg and simply put a note on the paper work requesting it to be returned by a certain date. This was after to USA Sieger Show. In 2 Weeks paperwork was returned. Pam at USA was a great help plus she is very pretty.

It is true Geli (Angelika Clark) left and is now working for WDA. She was very good at handling the paperwork but even when she was there and things had to be sent to Germany, it took forever..... 5 years ago it took over 9 months to get my dogs original paperwork back....
So, USA came up with it's own registry.. registering our dogs thru the SV does nothing for us.. this is according to Jim Elder and announced at the GB at the Nashville Nationals..
The new USA program works with copies, so originals need not be sent off....and it is considerably less expensive.
I did also hear that the office is only taking calls at certain hours and am not sure what that is all about... something's not right...

I have used the USA to register a female and obtain the besheinegun (spelling). This transaction took approximately 2 months start to fininsh without any problems. I could have done this myself working directly with the SV but I thought the USA office had better communication with the SV. I'm glad my experience was not the same as some others.
Can someone tell me the purpose of a registry not recognized by the FCI, WUSV? The AKC registry is the only accepted registry by the FCI for the United States.

I have been dealing with the USA for a couple of months now on a few situations. Pam has been nothing but helpful to me. Returns my emails quite quickly. Additionally, now that they have a new system, they are NOT requiring original paperwork. They sent me back all of my originals with a letter stating that if the hold up at their office was causing an issue for me in trialing or showing to bring the letter. I have also received several communications with apologies in regard to the hold up on a couple of issues I had them assisting me with.
So far (knock on wood) I have not had an issue. From what I hear, Pam is just about the only person in the office these days, and so far, she has done well for me.

I just sent my pink papers in for my newest import male and got them back within 10 days. I faxed individuals on two of my young dogs and Pam made sure that I got letters for conformation shows to cover me until the registrations are processed.
I have done individuals on 4 other dogs in the past year and got them back reasonably quick (except for one but that was a bit of a misunderstanding and not Selma's fault). No doubt I miss Geli and all her help but I think the girls have done a pretty good job processing my paperwork.
