I have had several requests for a copy of the puppy fear stage chart and I am still trying to find the file. Hopefully I still have it. You can do a search and find these charts on the internet. NWK9 has a good article on not allowing the ideal that puppies go thru fear stages to be a cover for a shy or timid one.
Remember that even during a fear stage a pup should not be fearful of usual everyday things. If your in training keep in mind that if you do something that scares or hurts the pup it may always be scared of that activity. IE: example if training for agility and the pup during a fear stage falls off it he may always be scared of getting on a ramp.
Also remember that all pups are different and the chart should serve as a reference only and not as exact science.
Also watch how the pup recovers from the stress that scares it. If it was scared in your garage is it still scared the next day to go into the garage?
