And I appreciate the breeder's honesty about the puppy, she could easily, if wanted, cheat some international buyer, such cheating is being done frequently. But this breeder is a good honest one.

Maybe they were the pick of the litter and she was hoping the testicles would drop but has now given up the hope? Maybe they have the best conformation & drives and are not "the one's no body wanted". I don't know them or even the lines but thought I would offer my opinion. Also $1,200 is not out of the norm for New England on a non breeding pup. We don't know if they have been house broken, socialized, puppy ob basics, etc. If so then I think it is more than fair. If they have sat in a kennel with no puppy training or socialization, etc then I think it may be steep.
