Does anyone have personal experience with a clean, pet friendly, moderately priced hotel or motel in Rockford IL....or there about....

I was just there last week-Sleep Inn-$69.00 = $15.00 for the dog. Continental breakfast inc, Only thing that was a little sketchy was there was a defunct strip joint next door, but it seemed a safe enough neighborhood.

Red Roof Inn is usually a good bet. If you Google "Hotels" you will see a large collection right off of Interstate 90, those are your best bet. It's in a newer section of Rockford and there are lots of restaurants surrounding that area.

There is a Motel 6 right off of I-90 in a group with all the other hotels. Pets stay free, no questions asked. I stay at Motel 6 with my GSDs pretty much whenever I travel because it's cheap.
