Ok well i'm just trying to get rid of the itching oozing scabs and sores that  my poor 3 year old Doberman Pinscher is gnawing at on his tail, flanks and elbows..I figured it was the corn and rice from Diamond  bags  so i switched to  Evo grain free.. he did great on the Evo grain free but then i switched to TOTW Bison formula  recently because store was out of Evo, and boy has he started itching and gnawing again.. So as of yesterday i purchased Canidae grain free and now i feel it's going to be just as bad especially if it's owned by Diamond.. something in their food is causing allergies in my boy.. maybe it's the processing who knows.. all i want to know is if anyone has a better recomendation for a top quality grain free for my Doberman that will help his allergic reaction..  Is Evo a good brand? someone mentioned Evangers.. any other ideas? thank you

Orijen, Acana or raw.

Best for dermatitis is raw food (preferably green tripe not for human consumption) and a table spoon of organic Salmon Oil every day.
If you don't want to feed raw food try to order Acana (grain free) or similar organic kibble. Grain free products like Candiae still contain lots of additives that are bad esp. for sensitive dogs. Raw food not suitable for human consumption (not bleached and treated) is great for sensitive dogs - if you can, get venison, buffalo or elk. Personally I prefer elk. I would leave eggs and diary products away as they can cause dermatitis in some dogs.
See other discussions on this board.
Good luck.

Thank you all for your posts.. What is green Tripe and where can i get it? sounds weird.. I haven't heard of Acana but i will look into that.. yes i'm guessing he is allergic to additives and dairy and definitely needs oil...Orijen is another i will look into.. Thanks so much!! :-)))) There are so many brands and it really is a trial and error out there.. so i really do appreciate all your input, it saves on  spending and wasting..

Tripe is a cow stomach that ferments grass. Green tripe is unwashed and unbleashed and contains pre-digested - enzyme rich bits and pieces of grass. It is a little smelly, but very healthy and best to feed outside. You can buy it cut up or in one big piece (the whole stomach). Usually dogs love to rip it apart and really enjoy long and slow chewing on tripe. Some supermarket butchers can tell you were to get this in your area, but it is important that it is not washed and bleached (that is how it is sold for human consumption), because the enzymes are important.

I have had very good luck with the Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Salmon formula.
The Acana (again Salmon formula) is better.
It will eliminate the need for buying salmon oil.
Acana and Orijen are made by the same company.
The Acana is a little more affordable.

Two suggestions...
First...If your dog did well on Evo...why not buy a few bags at a time and not run out...Maybe even special order it..
.And Second...Maybe you need to contact a vet that specializes in nutrition...I know here in Michigan we have a vet that is a Nutritionist...He will do a "blood panel" and read it and tell you what your dog needs and doesn't need...He'll also explain to you what's causing problems for your dog...
I know just like in human...Gluten causes a lot of problems...and this is just one problem...So it might be worth your while to look up such a vet and see exactly what's the cause of your problem and you can go from there...
It'll take the guess work out of what your looking for...
Well  my wife just corrected me as to what this vet is...He's a Homeopathic Vet...I don't know what area your in but if  you'd like your welcome to PM me and I can give you this name and number...

I am feeding my male GSD the TOTW new lamb formula called Sierra Mountain. I like the fact that the protein is 25%.. maybe your guy got itchy because the TOTW bison one was to rich for him??

I know someone that is feeding Canidae and his dog looks awesome. The dog has a beautiful coat.
