A newspaper heard about a couple's 60 years successful marriage and sent its reporter to interview them. The reporter being clever interviewed them each at a time to get to the true bottom of it, he started with the the husband first:
Reporter: Is it true sir that you and your wife lived together happily for 60 years?
Husband: That is absolutely true son, no doubt about it whatsoever.
Reporter: Can you tell the reason behind this extraordinary successful marriage !!
Husband: It is because of the honeymoon.
Reporter: How?
Husband: You see, we spent our honeymoon in a beautiful country full of mountains, one day we decided to climb one of those high mountains and we used mules. On the way my wife's mule made a stop and refused to continue but she talked to him and convinced him to continue and exclaimed "this is the 1st".
After some climbing he again made a stop and refused to continue, she talked to him and convinced him to continue climbing and furiously exclaimed "this is the 2nd"
Again the mule after some more distance made a stop and refused to continue, this time my wife did not try to convince him, she stepped down and exclaimed "this is the 3rd", took out a revolver and shot him in the head. I was shocked and started shouting at her wondering how we will make it back to town, she looked at me and exclaimed "this is the 1st" and so ......
