I think I may head over there and whatch and then head to Indy to train Sunday. Would like to see a different venue for the dogs working.

Phil:

Are you saying there kinda rough on the dogs?

Phil Behun

by Phil Behun on 12 October 2010 - 14:10

That's exactly what I'm saying.  Plenty of ways to test a dog without physically abusing them.

Going to the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus,,,,thought I might stop  and watch while I'm up there..
                                           Is this a violent sport..???

                          Deanna,,,,: )

by VomMarischal on 12 October 2010 - 14:10

No, it's not a violent sport. Phil has apparently had a bad experience with it, and I am guessing dogs have been hurt much as they have in Sch. But i've never seen it happen.
