Bhall

I had bad luck this month.  My Norma found a Kong and ate it.  Needless to say she could not pass it so we had to do a $2,000 surgery.  Now that was 3 weeks ago.  Guess what happened on Saturday.....
My other female decided to eat some carpet (wouldn't pass it),  she is at the vet right now having a $2,000 surgery....
Oh I forgot, my Beira got her foot caught in an isolation panel last week and ripped her toe pretty bad.  So far $1,000.
I also forgot the C-Section 2 months ago.........

Do you have any stories????

Oh my Goodness!!!!  That is terrible....I guess that just shows you can never keep a close enough eye on them.....They are worse than child proofing your home......LOL.....I hope all goes well for you....Maybe the tides are fixing to turn for you.....Look for the light at the end of the tunnel.....It's gotta get better....Keep us posted on your girls...

I am sorry about your horrible luck.  I hope all the dogs a healthy and happy outcome.
I wish I was closer to lend a hand..
I had a really awful time a few years ago, and the people that helped me out made a world of difference..
Even the support of the people here on PDB.  I received many private emails and PMs and it really touched me.

Surgery went great.  I love my vet as he stays over every time to take care of my dogs.  They took my girl home with them so that they can keep an eye on her.
A good Vet is priceless.

January:  favorite red sable female ingested wash cloth-emergency surgery.  May: same dog blocked on clumps of grass-second emergency surgery.  August: same dog blocked three times-resolved with intensive fluid therapy-needless to say she is leashed or at my side during "liberty"--in addition, favorite black sable female blocked on Hickory nuts-resolved by intensive fluid therapy.  And I thought I was the only one with "cursed" German Shepherds-so far no problems (knock on wood) with my other four.
