Is thier something wrong with this site? - Page 1

No you are not the only one with problems      Mine works one minute and then in a few it sits and looks at me for 15 mins..tonight..

Firefox is not working  yet...NO PICTURES period..  

I went back to Internet Explorer and it doesnt load well....Takes a month of sundays....

Oli is working on lots of things...I think he is overloaded.   All the face book stuff is useless to us with Dial up .'
Find the thread   by Oli with glitches and post to it your problems.

It seems if you are looking at a pic it will load , say dog for sale , a few seconds after its all loades it trys to load something else that says facebook pic and locks up everytime. Mine only does it when there is a picture in the add. Seems he has some type of virus or a redirect spyware bug in this thing

I checked this site at the below links and found no problems. Plus it does not show any problems on searches or through WOT.

THis site has some big problems  STILL

 You can throw check this and that all day long...JUst because your  links show no problems does not mean the rest of us have none.

We do not all have three computors and all day long to play with website definers.

The site has a virus in it....Mahon called me and said he got it last Saturday when he logged in and he isn't touching this place.  He said his computor went  smazzing all over the place and warnings jumping off the screen..took him a long time to clean it all up and get back his normal screen.

My computer logs in in one size print once, next loggin has different size print and lines up tall and skinny..then next time I log in the print is in the middle of the pictures,,next time I log in I have no pictures..next time I log in , the right hand selections are covered up with the print of the message box..then the message box takes 15 mins to go into mode to write in ..   and we have no problems...I am not rewriting my host boxes just for one site. when I have many people saying     site has a problem..I have to switch back to IE then back to firefox according to the sandwich selection of the day....fish to day.,,  corn beef tomorrow...do you get it????

There is a problem when  big numbers of people cannot normally just log in like we have for years without trouble..I never ever had a log in or down load problem  but one or two times  when the whole site went into la la land and Oli told us it was being worked on or revised...I will just log in when I can and hope to see and read. if not  I will wait it out..

I do not think we need a face book link on here .,.I have no need for it nor can use it..I have dial up and you cannot use it period.  when 50 people email you to join at one time...look out..I had 285 emails one day when I tried to use Facebook....no thank you...my face doesn't belong in a BOOK>>>\

I agree YR --  I don't use -- nor want to use -- Facebook.

The facebook likes are not causing the problems. I received a pm form Oli that basically said those with problems need to contact their ISPs as the picture issue has to do with outdated DNS software that your ISP is using. Oli was able to fix it on his end but the damage in the search engine ranking could have been devastating and he decided it was not worth the chance of the search engines blacklisting this site for 5 to 10 people to be able to see pictures.

Oli wants the facebook likes as facebook is huge and can only help to enhance Oli's site in the search engine ranking plus add a feature many on here might use. 

Their is no virus here this site is checked often for malware and viruses.

Oli flat out told me if people are getting viruses it is not coming from here and I tend to believe a man who is a professional coder over someone who happens to get a virus.

Oli is very knowledgable about coding and all of this third party redirects, malware and virus talk is a bunch of hogwash from people who barely know how to turn a computer on.

I side with Oli the professional coder, who BTW built this site.

WoW, you sure receive a lot of PM's from Oli S.P.    Are you his "go-to-man" for distributing info?  

Well , my computer man who builds sites also disagrees as well as another website man who is on our database..

It is an opinion and you cannot tell me it works one day and the next day it doesn't
  My computer man knows what statement is being made and he said it is not true...

So I guess we will disagree and not see pictures...

What is an ISP?     my internet supplier  laughed at me and said  everyone blames us for any thing they do not know.
my computer man knows what it is but I would like to know...who do I contact with this tidbit..I will do it just to see what they say....my people do not use outdated anything..my computer is up to date and checked last week from top to bottom and the computer shop logged on and he has top of everything and it did the same at his shop on his comoputer ...

So sorry    Oli must be missing something..
